Welcome to Mental Vault! The terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Mental Vault, a business registered and operating in Cyprus (EU). Mental Vault operates online services and organizes tabletop gaming events, and may offer products, digital goods, and services, including but not limited to trading card games, board games, accessories, single cards, custom or made-to-order items, and organized play (the “Services”).

Mental Vault is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

The below terms and conditions, together with any policies referenced herein (these “Terms of Service” or “Terms”) describe your rights and responsibilities when you use the Services.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully, as they include important information about your legal rights and cover areas such as warranty disclaimers and limitations of liability.

By visiting, interacting with, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, you should not use or access our Services.

SECTION 1 – ACCESS AND ACCOUNT

By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country of residence, and that you have given consent for any minor dependents to use the Services under your supervision.

To use the Services, including browsing our online stores, purchasing products, or participating in events, you may be required to provide certain information such as your email address, billing details, payment information, and shipping address. You represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for all activity conducted through your account. You may not transfer, sell, or assign your account to another person.

SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS

We make reasonable efforts to accurately display and describe products and services offered through our Services. However, product appearance (including colors and finishes) may vary depending on device settings and manufacturing tolerances.

We do not warrant that products or services will meet individual expectations or appear exactly as displayed.

All product descriptions, availability, and pricing are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to discontinue or limit products at any time.

Single Cards & Secondary Market Products

Certain products consist of individual trading cards or secondary-market items. Condition assessments are made in good faith using industry-standard practices. Minor subjective differences in condition evaluation do not constitute defects.

Custom & Made-to-Order Items (Including 3D Printing)

Certain products may be custom-made or produced on demand, including 3D printed items. These items are created specifically for you and may not be eligible for return or refund except where required by applicable law.

SECTION 3 – ORDERS

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Mental Vault reserves the right to accept or decline any order at its discretion. Orders are not accepted until payment is received and confirmed.

Please review orders carefully before submission. We may be unable to cancel or modify orders once accepted. If an order is cancelled or modified by us, we will attempt to notify you using the contact details provided.

Purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.

You represent that purchases are for personal use and not for commercial resale or unauthorized distribution.

EU Consumer Rights Notice

Where applicable under EU consumer protection law, customers may have a statutory right to withdraw from certain purchases within 14 days.

This right does not apply to:

Opened sealed trading card products
Single cards or secondary-market items
Custom or made-to-order items (including 3D printed products)
Event tickets or event entry fees

SECTION 4 – PRICES AND BILLING

Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices displayed do not include taxes, shipping, customs duties, or import fees unless explicitly stated.

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date billing and payment information. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and that all charges will be honored.

SECTION 5 – EVENTS AND ORGANIZED PLAY

Mental Vault may organize or facilitate tabletop gaming events, tournaments, leagues, or casual play sessions (“Events”).

Event entry fees are non-refundable except where an Event is cancelled by us. Event formats, rules enforcement, prize structures, schedules, and venues may change where reasonably necessary.

Participation in Events is at your own risk. Mental Vault is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property during Events, except where required by law.

SECTION 6 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control.

International shipments may be subject to customs duties, VAT, or import fees imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

Risk of loss passes to you upon transfer to the carrier.

SECTION 7 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content and materials provided through the Services are owned by Mental Vault or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes only. No rights or licenses are granted except as expressly stated.

Custom or 3D printed items do not grant any rights to underlying design files or production methods unless explicitly agreed in writing.

SECTION 8 – OPTIONAL TOOLS

We may provide access to third-party tools “as is” and “as available” without warranties or endorsements. Use of such tools is at your own risk.

SECTION 9 – THIRD-PARTY LINKS

We are not responsible for third-party websites, content, or services. Accessing third-party sites is at your own risk.

SECTION 10 – RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

Mental Vault is powered by Shopify. All purchases are made directly with Mental Vault. Shopify is not responsible for transactions, products, or services provided by Mental Vault.

SECTION 11 – PRIVACY POLICY

All personal information collected is governed by our Privacy Policy [LINK] and Shopify’s Privacy Policy.

SECTION 12 – FEEDBACK

Any feedback submitted grants Mental Vault a perpetual, royalty-free license to use such feedback for any purpose without compensation.

SECTION 13 – ERRORS AND OMISSIONS

We reserve the right to correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without notice.

SECTION 14 – PROHIBITED USES

You may not use the Services for unlawful, abusive, misleading, or harmful purposes. We reserve the right to terminate access for violations.

We may terminate access at any time. Obligations incurred prior to termination remain enforceable.

Services and products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties except where required by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mental Vault shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services.

SECTION 18 – INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mental Vault and its partners from claims arising from your breach of these Terms.

SECTION 19 – SEVERABILITY

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

SECTION 20 – WAIVER; ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Mental Vault.

SECTION 21 – ASSIGNMENT

You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them freely.

SECTION 22 – GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and applicable European Union law. Courts of Cyprus shall have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections apply.

SECTION 23 – HEADINGS

Headings are for convenience only.

SECTION 24 – CHANGES TO TERMS

We may update these Terms at any time by posting changes to our website. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
